Memories from Asia
Last December 31st Hotel Coral & Marina was pleased to present its New Year’s Eve dinner party. With Asian inspired theme, dishes, music, decoration and ambiance, all our guests had a great start of the year 2014.
At seven o’clock the celebration started with a welcome cocktail and asian music. Later on, the group ‘Baja Strings’ lived up the dinner.
A five course dinner was offered. The first dish served was Sesame scented salmon roll served in a bed of rice vermicelli followed by a Sesame wakame seaweed stuffed timbale with shiitake mushroom dressing and tobiko, with shrimp topped with nori flakes salad as a second course dish.
The third course was a Mirin-ginger duck magret served with sweet potato and coconut milk puree and warm soy sprouts salad. Caramelized pork stips served with roasted vegetables was offered as the fourth course.
The traditional Chocolates table was offered as dessert.
Later at night, a toast was made by the music band to welcome the New Year.
