Baja 500, a great success.

The 44th edition of the Baja 500 off road race took place with great success and a big number of visitors. Hotel Coral and Marina hosted several pilots at its facilities like Gustavo Vildósola, Andy McMillin, Terrible Herbst, BJ Baldwin, Jesse Jones, Bryce Menzies, among others.
On Friday June 1st 4 wheel vehicles of all classes gathered outside our hotel to prepare for the technical inspection on the eve of the big race.
Thousands of people were reunited along the route where all the motorcycles and trophy trucks passed by from the early hours of the morning. The race was attended by over 275 teams from 34 U.S. institutions and 15 countries, among which were Australia, Austria, Canada, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Guatemala, Hungary, Dominican Republic, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Spain and Mexico.
Throughout the weekend the fans were awaiting the outcome of the race. Bryce Menzies won the overall four wheel with a time of 9:13:59 and Robby Bell took the overall in the motorcycle category with a time of 9:11:33.
It was a pleasure for Hotel Coral and Marina to host some of the drivers of this traditional race including the winner of the Trophy Truck, the most popular category among the audience. We share with you this link to a photo gallery of this race, we hope you enjoy it.
