XV Mushroom Festival

With a 15 year tradition, the Mushroom Festival will take place in Ensenada this June 3rd, the festival is a famous gastronomic event that offers mushroom-based dishes. The event is a contest between local restaurants where every place present mushroom soups or mushrooms with meat, chicken, fish and sea food.
When the contestants show their dishes, a panel of judges from the Baja California Chefs Association choose the food with the best flavor and presentation. Everybody can enjoy all the meals that the participant restaurants offer.
During the festival that takes place in the First Street o Calle Primera in Ensenada, the assistants can enjoy live music, raffles, contests and dancing numbers. There are stands where you can find regional wines, beers and desserts. Some amusing children activities are organized making this a unique familiar, social and cultural event.
The Antares Restaurant has participated in several ocassions winning good prices chosen by the judges and the public.
