New Wine and Seashells Festival
As we mentioned before, Ensenada has gained worldwide recognition due to its excellent wine production and its innovating gastronomy with Mediterranean influences; that is the reason why the “New Wine and seashells Festival” is organized. This event was created with the goal of connecting seashells and wine producers with customers and investors but also to demonstrate the Ensenada’s potential as seashell and wine producer.
Hotel Coral & Marina will be the host of this traditional event this year and it is going to take place from April 20th to 22nd. The activities scheduled for this year’s program includes land and maritime tours to different seashells crops in the area, a special barbecue in which you will learn to cook seashells, conferences, workshops, a cooking demonstration on modern methods of oyster-culture and, to finish, a festival in which all the attendees will have the opportunity of taste wine and culinary samples.
It depends on the season if a mollusk is chosen as the central topic for the event but, for sure, white wines will be always present in this festival; white wine combined with mollusks made, what many call, “A match made in heaven”.
