Baja California is full of beautiful landscapes that we can enjoy, this is the reason why we want to share with you information about a place that has been already recognized as one of the main attractions of the state, “La lobera” located 37 miles south from San Quintin.
The structure of this place is similar to a crater in which inside of it you will find a kind of beach that allows the entry of subterranean seawater with several branches. In the lower part of this “crater” can be seen the space where the females are with their offspring and where they safeguard themselves of predators. Although this area has not been fully explored, it is believed that there are some tunnels since some entrances are viewable.
“La lobera” is home of a large number of species and flora that are exclusive of this area making of it an excellent place for those that are looking for a relaxing time and those who enjoy camping and the observation of nature. We invite you to come by and experience this unique place, another magic spot of Baja California.
Location: Km. 47.5 Carretera Transpeninsular # 1, San Quintín – Punta Prieta between Ejido Valle Tranquilo and El Rosario. Go 3 Km. west through an unpaved way.
