A few days before the spectacular Emmanuel’s performance that is going to take place in Ensenada, we want to share with you some information about his life and career…
As a grandson of a great flamenco dancer, son of the bullfight Raul Acha, well known as “Rovira”, and the Spanish singer and actress Conchita Martinez, it was not uncommon for him to venture into the art world. In his childhood he lived in Spain and Peru. When he was 12 years old he decided to start his career as a bullfighter in a small bullring named “Del Bosque” located just outside of Lima, Peru.
It was until 1976 when he was discovered by the Heraldo de Mexico; later with the help of the tenor Don Pedro Vargas, Emmanuel began his career as a singer conquering the international market with tours in Europe, United States, Mexico and Central and South America.
As part of his hits we can mention the songs “Todo se Derrumbo”, “Pobre Diablo”, “Quiero Dormir Cansado”, “Tengo Mucho que Aprender de Ti”, “Toda la Vida”, “La Chica de Humo” among many others. He also received important awards like International Artist, Show of the Year and Album of the Year as well as being worthy of Gold and Platinum discs for its high sales in international markets.
Emmanuel was the first Latin artist to perform at the main sites in several U.S. cities such as Radio City Music Hall in Nueva York, Cesar Palace and MGM in Las Vegas, etc.
There is no doubt that we will experience an awesome show offered by a great artist this October 1st in an exclusive place with a beautiful view under the stars and next to our marina!
