Baja California has different islands along its coastline; we have already talked about the Todos Santos Island and the surf activities that take place in its big waves, now it is the turn of the Guadalupe Island Biosphere Reserve.

For any one that enjoys to practice extreme sports, we want to share information about an activity that is held in October in the city of Ensenada: the MTB Baja Ultra Endurance. This is a race that offers a 100km journey between traces of trails, roads, villages, endless and dizzying climbs that will test the ability of all the mountain bikers who decided to participate in this race.

Sea kayaking is an activity that takes place in open waters of lakes, bays and oceans. Enjoyed by children and grownups as well, that can be practiced in groups or alone. Definitely it’s an activity that you can practice in the Baja California coasts in both the Cortez Sea or in the Pacific Ocean side.

Baja California has a unique geography, which allow to draw an ecotourism route for everyone who loves the nature. This route extends from big mountains and forests to beaches and deserts. Ensenada has two large forests just a few miles away and as protected areas they preserve their beauty.
